All Buttered Veg recipes are designed and tested by Andrea Hayley-Sankaran, a certified Ayurveda Nutrition and Digestive Health Coach and Ayurvedic chef of 25 years. Recipes are vegetarian, and they are written with an emphasis on herbs, spices, health benefits, and with a mindful approach, but Andrea does not advocate a vegetarian diet and respects all choices.
Cooking is Andrea's life mission, one that she connected with one evening long ago over a simmering pot of lentils while pondering what to do with her life. "I can cook," came through loud and clear, and she's never looked back.
