Easter inspires me, and moves my heart endlessly, because it is the day Jesus resurrected from the dead, and gave hope to humanity.
It is difficult to fathom the impact of this one miraculous moment that changed the course of history. It truly left an undeniable mark.
The message of the resurrection is hope.

Hope is in the knowledge that sins can be forgiven, that good people will be welcomed in heaven after they die, and that eternal life is possible.
It’s this singular message of hope that indeed transformed humankind, and that still inspires countless millions to strive to live righteous and god-fearing lives.
It’s the kind of message that even compels people to die for their beliefs, as countless Christians have throughout history—rather than forsake what is precious in the face of evil.
Profound impact
Imagine, it’s been 2023 years since the birth of Jesus, and the story of the Easter miracle is still widely known and accepted by believers today.
In fact, the story of Christ is so much ingrained in our culture that our modern calendar literally counts the number of years after the birth of Christ.
The acronym A.D. refers to “in the year of our Lord,” while B.C. refers to “before Christ.”
So it is currently 2023 in the year of our Lord.
Who believed then?
People don’t question the story of Easter today, but what do you imagine the situation was like back when Jesus was crucified on the cross?
Who believed him then?
We know Jesus had 12 disciples. Did he have many more than that? Do you think people at that time believed he was a savior?
They did not.
They persecuted him to death for his claim.
At the same time, via this heinous crime, they precipitated the single, most meaningful event on earth, where we’ve seen Christianity become the dominant religion, as well as the foundation for the modern ruling world order.
The wisdom to see
As a graduate of the humanities, I can tell you that the one thing we lack as people is the wisdom to reflect on history.
We look back on the story of Easter and we can no longer fathom it, so we call it a myth.
We rarely take a step back to view the larger picture because it literally boggles the mind.
If we could, though, it would reveal a completely different reality.
So one needs wisdom to see in a new way, and one needs to be reminded to look.
It is in this spirit that I am now honored to share with you a very significant article, which may contain life-altering and world-changing messages for you.
I invite you to take a look and try to see your history in a new way.
The article is titled, “How Humankind Came to Be.”
It is written by Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of the spiritual discipline Falun Gong.
